Tamboo Bamboo: Dominion

The rich history of Caribbean music & celebration represented by a 3-piece ensemble inspired by Tamboo Bamboo, a percussion instrument with its origin in Trinidad and Tobago. When faced with the attempt by government to silence the sound of the skinned drum, it only sparked the the birth of the Tamboo Bamboo. Poles of bamboo were cut, hollowed, dried and when struck with sticks making a drum like sound.
